In this small village you'll find the palace of Guatemala's first bishop, Bishop Francisco Marroquin.  Informal tours of the 16th century palace are given by the nuns who currently live there.  The church and convent have been beautifully restored. You can enjoy  a wonderful view of Antigua usually at sunset and sunrise. 

How to get there:  By foot, it's about an hour's walk from Antigua.  There are also many public buses available daily.
